The Foundation for Arts and Culture invited artist Chen Li to extend the work of Gabriel Orozco to create their own collage material through the repetitive action of scissors. Chen Yu-li specializes in the techniques of collage, printmaking, and hand-drawing to create images rich in touch and warmth. This workshop will focus on geometry, practice listening to the inner voice and find the relationship and fun between “movement” and “stillness” through your intuition and preferences.

Artist Biography

Ann Veronica Janssens

Gabriel Orozco, from Mexico, creates around the environment in which he lives and what happens around him. As he often travels around the world, the diverse cultures have inspired and explored him, and his interest in materials is evident from traditional Mexican crafts, Japanese visual culture, to Indonesian stone carving.
