Horn began creating glass sculptures in the late 1990s. To make these sculptures, Horn poured colored molten glass into molds, which gradually annealed or cooled over several months. The side of the sculpture retains the roughness of the casting mold, and the top is smooth and shiny, like a crystalline pool or an arctic ice cube. When looking at the sculpture, the interior of the sculpture resembles water.
